Vieome, it was your assertion. Care to answer?

Me, too. We assume "oracle" just means she gives prophecies. But that would make her the Prophet or Fortune-Teller. She is the Oracle. And the word oracle doesn't mean someone who can tell the future and give prophecies. It means someone who speaks on behalf of a deity.

The only deity I could see the Oracle as speaking on behalf of is the Source.

So "the Source" is a deity?

In the model referrenced, yes.

Explain.

It is an open question, not specifically addressed to either one of you.
But to be fair, it was your assertion as well. So do YOU care to answer?

Then why did I address it to vieome?

No.

The Oracle says that everything is from the source and must return to the source. Neos power is from the source
but if that does not make the source a deity in your book, then nothing will.

What do you think the source is?

Is there more evidence along these lines, or is that about all?

It is crystal clear that you two have some conflict going, which I guess hinders the actual discussion, so in the spirit of peace I ask.

What do you think the Oracle would say to people in the matrix who were have the same problem you two are having?

Shoot at each other until one absorbs the other's code?

Intel, sometimes I do think you and I are just having fun in our own stupid way (it at least keeps the masses engaged in discussion).

Other times I worry that a paranoid psychophrenic 30-year-old black man is going to show up on my door step chanting, “Fi Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of Captain Postmodernism.”

(Not to say that I believe that to be an accurate description of you, just the one I imagine.)

Then it should not surprise anyone that you are about as close to the truth about your own importance as you are about anything else.

Intel, is that you?! I haven't been following this thread very closely, so I guess I missed that little tidbit. How the heck you been, man?
