Spot on, vieome!

And Cipher, he’s decided to stop fighting. He’s going to just enjoy every sandwich. Away with the past and future, just be here now.

… Except there’s this girl he can’t get off his mind. And so, for her, he has to have one last battle. He could have brought an end to it all, but he chose to go into the fray one more time for her.

Sound familiar?

Hi guys,

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone noticed that in the scenes of Cypher in Zion that he has a hole in his sweater at the exact spot where his heart is located? To me, it portrays Cypher as being 'heartless'.

There are also more overt references to suggest that Cypher plays the role of Judas Iscariot in the first film. I see the sharing of the drink between Cypher and Neo as a foreshadowing of Cypher's betrayal of Neo. I believe it is no coincidence that they share the cup just after Cypher has been setting up his meeting with Agent Smith. Sharing the cup could then be seen as Cypher's kiss of betrayal.

It's cool to see that you guys also picked up on Cypher being equivalent to 'zero'. This sets him up as the nemesis of the 'one'.

Okay. Now who found it interesting that someone named "Dionysus" would point out something about a cup and Jesus' betrayal?
