The While there are many levels for studying the matrix one that I have never come across although I am sure it has been done is looking at the matrix from the point of view of the machines. Now in saying that I feel we have to define what we mean by machine so as not to confuse it with program or squidies.
So I guess the easiest way to say it would be to say that by machine I mean the artificial inteligence creators.
What I find interesting is that smith on some level is a philosopher, he takes time to pondr on the nature of the matrix. But on a higher level how does dues view the matrix.
My understanding is that the machines view the story that unfolds in the matrix as a series of events carried out by programs. And in programs the machine will define the program by two types of programs, a machine program designed to protect the system and a human program designed to have some sort of free will.
Please note that these are just notes for what I hope will be a definitive guide for how the A I might view or interprete the matrix.
The Human Program
In the case of the human program, the mind is conected to a large construct the matrix. The matrix awaits and event from the human program. Events are of three types, an emotion or a thought or an action of RSI in the matrix. When the matrix recieves such an event the information is sent to the source which then responds through the use of agents.
The emotional Event
While there are several different emotions the source treats emotions on two levels good or bad.
Well that is my basic idea will try and expand it, but if any of you have some thoughts on this please add to the thread.
